Beginning

  • Hi Everyone!
    I've made the decision. I am going to start a walking program with 20 minutes 3x/week. It was about this time of year two years ago I started working with a personal trainer. I didn't feel I was making progress and I really didn't have my heart in it. This time is different! I am looking for support, motivation, and accountability from people who can relate to what I'm going through. I know it's mind over matter and all in my control, so I'm taking the first step. I look forward to getting to know some of you!

    100 lbs to go, but my first mini goal is 15 lbs, roughly 5%. Let the workouts begin!

    That is a great goal! I think that walking is one of the best ways to exercise. Also, I find that setting small goals really helps.

    You can do this! Start walking, keep walking and that weight comes off.

    And there's loads of support here for you .We all need each other.

    I'm finding myself focused on mini-goals too.. that way high-fives all around when I reach mini-steps. (I have over 80# total to lose, but my mini-goals keep me sane)
