Talking Wondering if i'm on track

Hi my name is Ivey:

I have been on Ideal Protein for 11 weeks now and have lost 30lbs not sure if thats good or not but the inches are coming off slow. I have about 119lbs i need to loss and thought that it would come off better than this. Is this a normal weight loss, i stick to the plan 100% and i go for 2, 30 minute walks per day with the weekends off.

I'm a little confused. Am i worried for nothing.

Hi Ivey! You are doing great! As for the weight loss showing. I recently read on here about a paper towel/weight loss analogy. Basically, it said when sheets are first torn off a new paper towel roll, you don't notice it because the roll is so big that each sheet goes around it only once and when you remove one, it's makes just a tiny little difference in the whole roll. But as more and more sheets come off, the roll gets smaller and the inner sheets wrap around the core more than once. When a sheet is removed then, it makes a noticeable difference. Likewise with weight loss. Fat is spread out all over the body. At first, each pound lost is not as noticeable because those pounds are just the first layer on your whole body. But the more you lose, the more noticeable each pound becomes because you don't have as much fat on your body, which makes it look that much more drastic. I don't know if I explained that very well, lol, but here's a link to the thread: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/meta...el-theory.html. Anyway, 30 lbs in 11 weeks is fantastic! Good luck the rest of the way!

That sounds like perfectly normal/desirable numbers for this point in the game, IMO.
