just joined!
hello all! i just joined after stumbling over this community thanks to a google search - i recently started using weight watchers, and was curious what others were doing with their weekly points. (i am doing ww online only - the app is much more convenient than the books and grids i remember seeing my mom and aunt using!) i used ww for a short time about 6 years ago, but i am finding the new points plus system to be much easier to follow than the old one. i am a big fan of having fresh fruit count as zero points - i remember asking my mom if she ever heard of anyone becoming obese from too much fresh fruit and sugar snap peas, she usually just laughed and shrugged, and logged her points! i live alone and can be bad about keeping fresh fruit stocked in my kitchen, but since i started ww, so far so good. anyhow, just wanted to post an initial hello, just browsing through the forums for now. glad to have this kind of community, especially since i don't go to meetings and i'm not broadcasting that i'm doing ww to my colleagues or anything like that.
