Smile Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to take a second to say hello to everyone here. I'm new to 3fatchicks but I'm excited about having some extra support while I try to get rid of all this excess weight!

I've been a "big girl" all my life but going over 400lbs was a huge shocker for me. I never even considered that I could get that big. My feet and legs started swelling, I developed diabetes, and my back started hurting from carrying around so much fat! The catalyst for my recent weight loss to 378lbs was due to a herniated disc in my back--I was in so much pain I wasn't hungry (not the weight loss plan anyone recommends). Now that my back feels better, I have noticed an increase in my weight again (I'm back up to 386lbs ) and I'm not happy with that at all. I was starting to feel better and I want to continue to feel better!

My intention is to use y'all for support, recipe ideas, and as one of my cheering sections as I continue my journey. I also want to be here for anyone else who is looking for support for their journey as well.

Thanks for reading and for any tips you may have for me along the way! I'm going to join the 300+ group now and look for any others that fit my needs.

Michelle

I am new as well. I have CP so exercise can be difficult I have been heavy since my late teen years. My heaviest was 230. I wanted to figure out a way for people with limited mobility to be able to lose weight. I am finally losing weight, although it may be seen as risky. I am looking for advise. I have changed how I eat DRASTICALLY. I am eating 1200 calories or less. I don't feel like I am starving myself. I actually eat until I am full. I eat fruit, steamed veggies salmon and grilled chicken. when I feel a little hungry between I eat pickles or sugar free jello (which adds little to no calories) I just eliminated white flour, sugar etc. I have lost almost 5 lbs this week. Any thoughts?
