Hi Everyone,

My name is Angela and I am new to the community. I found this sight and love the comrodery and positivity I see on the board. So far I have lost 49 pounds by eating right, portion control and exercise.

10 years ago I was a runner and in great shape. I got very ill and was in the hospital for 2 weeks. I was put on a medication that made me gain 135 pounds. Even though I informed the doctors what was going on with my body, they insisted I stayed on it. So here I am, 10 years later, getting back to the healthy me. Since I have lost the 49 pounds I no longer have diabetes, Anemia, and my PCOS is gone! Those things right there convinced me that I need to get myself healthy again and stay the course.

So thats me in a nutshell. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

so sorry you gained all that weight from medication.
I have taken steroids in the past when sick that increased my appetite and I had a round pie face
Glad to see your here..there is a diverse group so there are all different views and prospective to be gained
