My name is Angie and I just registered. I came across this site while researching reactions to a new medicine my doctor prescribed for me (which I'll discuss in other forums)
I'm 27 years old and a student/homemaker. I'm 5'4" and over the past year (or less) I've gained a substantial amount of weight. My "normal" weight according to the Dr. should be somewhere around 130-135 .. well I'm 40 lbs over that "normalcy". I'm 171 lbs currently and my goal is to get to about 145. I don't care about their idea of "normal" I just want to be comfortable again.
I was amazed when I found this site. It's wonderful to see such a strong community of people toughing out the same issue and helping each other through this!
I'm very happy to now be a part of this forum and community and I hope to share and learn a lot while here
