Default Getting back to finish what I started

Hi Everyone,

I was pretty active on here over a year ago. I lost over 70 pounds and felt mostly great. I was living an active, healthy lifestyle. Then, I got married (amazing day and best decision in my life). As I am sure has happened to many, I slowly let the weight creep back. I stopped cooking and eating healthy. I stopped making exercise a priority. I started feeling OK wearing sweatshirts.

Not only has my figure suffered...but so has my quality of life and happiness...and my marriage. My husband and I have similar vices and we worked on them together. We've lost that side of our relationship. He is amazing and is giving me the room to figure this out on my own, and I love him for it. While I'm whining, we are excited to start a family but I know I can't commit to those 9 months until I'm in better shape. Of course I have used all the excuses in the world. For all these reasons (and most of all for myself)...I'm here to get back up and finish what I started.

I look forward to sharing successes and struggles with all of you. Here's to a great new chapter!

Welcome back! One of my biggest fears is hitting my goal and then slipping as well. I've done it so many times already. I'm usually good when I'm by myself; it's when I'm in a relationship or hanging with friends that I give in to all this temptation. Everyone around me loves to eat, and eat well, and it's hard for me because I can't say no to offers of food. I'm hoping to really ingrain good behaviors into my head so I don't slip this time. Good luck on your journey!!
