Default College girl here, harro.

Fourth year student in college with 30 lbs to lose before going off to graduate school for Veterinary Medicine. I've always struggled with weight gain since I've had depression. Now that I'm on meds, it has decreased my appetite significantly...which is one of the reasons I am now going for a weight loss regimen. I've lost 10 lbs by just appetite suppression alone so just imagine what I could do if I started eating healthy and working out!

I'm a big fan of blogs/documentation as well as letting loose all my frustration in e-rants to anybody willing to read lol.

Look forward to losing with you, or winning.

Hiya and welcome! I'm in college too, only I just started. Lots of people here rant and such, and it's completely cool with everyone so rant when you need to!

Welcome! This is definitely the place to be if you want to lose weight! I've only joined recently but I find this place very helpful. I mostly do more reading than posting but I have found inspiration through people's success stories and knowing that I am not alone through this journey of weight loss.

Hi there and welcome! Funny how appetite modification filters down through the pipeline, ultimately impacting the scale. That's one of the primary reasons why I harp on and on about structuring 'diets' to minimize hunger as much possible.

Things like lots of protein (most satiating of the nutrients), adequate fiber and fat, low energy density/water heavy foods, etc.

G'luck and rant away!
