Yet Another Newbie
Hello all. I completely suck at losing weight. I'm dreadful at dieting, I rarely last a week, and the only time I've ever lost more than 10 lbs was when I caught some bug that didn't let me keep anything down for a month. Then I gained it all back. I've never had much in the way of self-control and I eat when I'm stressed, so I'm hoping that if I find a group on here that I'll feel like I have the support I need.
I have an account on Fitocracy, and I'm looking for a buddy who is also putting major focus on exercise and has around 100 lbs to lose. I'm currently doing P90X, although I struggle with Plyometrics and Yoga. I like lifting weights. My goal is to lose 35 lbs by Christmas, although that may be setting myself up for failure. I'm not sure.
I know that diet is the major part of the equation when it comes to losing weight, but I haven't decide what type of diet I want to pursue yet. Right now, I'm just cutting portion sizes. I'm trying to change my attitude so that I have a more positive outlook on this whole weight loss thing and life in general.
