Hi y'all,

I'm a thirty something male from Ireland - Thanks for letting me join the forum!

I've been struggling with my weight on and off ever since I was a kid. There's been times where I've really slimmed down, but I've never really been in control of my eating, if I'm being brutally honest, and its always managed to creep back on…

I guess I'm now kinda' tired of being very overweight, and with the whole 'yo yo dieting' thing. I thought I'd join this forum to meet, and chat people who are in the same boat.

Hey there. What part of Ireland are you from? I went to Galway and Dublin....absolutely loved it. I was living in Barcelona for 6 months and was fortunate enough to be able to travel. I would love to chat....Let me know if you would like to do the same. Dano

I'm originally form Dublin, but I've since moved down to a place called Kildare (about 7 years ago). It's lovely down here, but it's a little isolated at times, if you want to socialize up in Dublin - It's about 44 km form Dublin itself.

I went down to Galway recently! It's cool down there... While it's still a city, it's quite small, but still has that country charm.
