Default Hi, I'm new here

I fell upon this forum quite by accident and have lurked a bit but ready now to jump in. I need the support of others who struggle with their weight and loosing it! I've tried WW several times but it never "stuck." I'm an artist type and it's so hard for me to write things down, add things up etc. etc.

This past week I had a wonderful visit with an old friend who is now a naturopathic Dr. She had a few suggestions, one of them being the Mayo Clinic Diet. I got the book and love the simplicity of the program. So far the very hardest thing for me is not eating in front of the TV! We have always had our evening meal in front of the TV when my hubby gets home from work. He is being very supportive and happily has made the change to eat at the table.

Oh, I also belong to OA and through that program have learned alot about myself, my triggers and perceived "needs" when it comes to food. It has helped me more than any diet ever has...but I need structure and I think the Mayo Diet will help.

Thanks for listening to me and I'll appreciate any support from anyone!
