Hello!

I am here to lose weight and hopefully find a few friends along the way. I've lost over 100 pounds more than once, then gained it back during a pregnancy, lost it right after, had another baby...

I have 4 children and I just found out my heart is acting wonky so I really need to focus now. I've never had a problem losing weight once I get focused, but I've always had a problem maintaining weight loss. I'm hoping to get healthy & stay healthy this time.

We've made many changes and are eating much better. Cutting out soda and fast food was the best change we made for our health and we just need to keep heading down the right path.

My highest weight was 350 right before I delivered my last baby. I've lost 60 pounds since then. Sounds shocking actually. I've lost my 8 year old boy worth of weight.

lol I am right at 290 now and I have another 12 year old and a 2 year old worth of weight to go. lol

Anyway, I'm here for the long haul and anyone who needs support or a listening ear should hit me up. Thanks!

Thanks! It's easy to look ahead and feel the road is too long, but looking back, I've accomplished ALOT so far.

Thanks! I always think of weight in terms of physical items. Lose 5 pounds? That's a bag of sugar! Lose 10 and it's more than a gallon of milk.

When it doesn't feel like I've lost much (and many times it doesn't cause I'm still big), I think of carrying around two toddlers all day. My 2 year old weighs 30 pounds and if I'm shopping, lugging him around gets exhausting. He's heavy! Cute, but heavy. I used to be two toddlers heavier, so I'm making progress. It's slow, but it's progress.

I used to be a baker so every 50 pounds I have lost I think of one of those 50 pound bags of flour I used to carry around!!!

I've now lost 4 bags, and am 4 pounds shy of making it 5 bags!!!
