Hello. As you can tell by my title weight loss attempts are not new to me. I am very interested in life style diet changes this time and I am not looking for a quick fix. I want to make changes that i can keep throughout this second season in my life. I started the C25k running program on April 1 and have finished weeks 1 to 6. It took me a little longer than 6 weeks due to a layover to rest my knees and back. I never believed I could run for 10, 15, and now 25 minutes without walking. i couldn't do it as a teen so I never thhought as a 50 + i would be able to. But here I am plugging along, not fast but getting there. Hmmm maybe I should use a tortoise as my avator! 3 weeks ago, I decided to give weight watchers another try. I had reasonable success onother occasions but never really paired it with intense excercise. So three weeks in, I am down 4.5. Since April 1, when i started C25k, down 12 I think. So, I am here to talk with others about good lifestyle foods and changes, ww hints and maybe find other 50 year olds trying to run for the first time.
