Beginner but hopeful!
Hello! I am new to the site and am finding it so inspirational. I am disgusted in myself - for letting my weight get so out of control - I clocked in at 242lbs (110kg) yesterday.
I have always been heavy - now at 31 years, I can't remember when last I was comfortable in my own skin. I am type 2 diabetic and have been so for 4 years now and it's time to take back control of my body.
I have started a carb-restricted-atkins-inspired diet and hope the combinations learned from my past experiences with dieting will lead me to a good result.
