As a former "fat chick" 20 years ago (175 lbs @ 5'5"), I know how much motivation and dedication it takes to lose the weight. My lowest weight was 139 and a size 8 back in 2009. Now at 41 with 15 month old twins, I have found myself, yet again, overweight and battling motivation. Naturally you feel like you are the ugliest person in the world so a little depression sets in too.
This time I am going to start trail running after work since the days are getting longer. I first have to find a pair of shoes and running pants that hides the lumps and bumps. All I need is someone behind me to gasp out loud and then say "ick, I don't need to see two bulldogs fighting in your pants!!" I'm very self conscious about my "wide load" as you can tell.
Well, I hope everyone can find a little motivation today to get moving and to back away from the tempting treats. Do apples actually taste better than chocolate chip cookies? **** no! But if you spread just a little bit of peanut butter on the apple slices, they aren't that bad!
