Hello fellow members,
26 year old male here from Michigan. Starting my journey and figured I could use a forum that could provide me with some motivation.
Last fall I finished a half marathon but I was overweight. I looked at the photos online after the race and was disgusted with myself. I was probably around 215 or so on my 6'0'' frame. After numerous attempts, I finally decided that this year was going to be the year I was going to slim down and get closer to what I weighed in high school (175-180).
I've been doing the online weightwatchers thing for a little over a month now. I have not started exercising yet however. In that time doing the weightwatchers thing, I have dropped about 14 pounds and am down to around 200. I have already signed up for the Philadelphia Rock and Roll Half Marathon in Fall 2012. I am going to start running soon (as soon as it warms up outside) and hopefully continue on my journey to get down to 180 or so.
