Default Is 20 lbs in 4 months a realistic goal?

Hi everyone, new to the forum and just registering and posting here seems to be like a step in the right direction.

I am 24, 5'7", 155-160lbs. (I fluctuate a lot)My goal weight is 135 and I would like to lose the weight and tone for the summer.

From the outside I look like I am in good shape. But I have a little belly that I would love to flatten. Mentally I feel very lethargic and my diet is very poor.

I am the type of person who needs results to keep me motivated. I do not want to set my self up for something unrealistic.
Is this goal of 20 lbs obtainable?

I would think so, I've only been dieting for 3 weeks and I've list 8lbs already, it seems we are about the same frame. 20lbs in 4 months is definately attainable

8 lbs! Thats awesome, congrats. How often are you going to the gym and what do you typically do there? Are you on a specific diet? I need a nudge in the right direction. I know I need to eat healthier and go to the gym but I'm a little lost.

I would believe so, I mean I've done it. I'm struggling to do it again now, so once you go don't stop. And if you're really serious about it, you can do anything. Good luck sweetheart!!

Tara, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable.
