Hey everybody! I'm an 18-year-old high school student from Oregon that has been overweight since third grade. A few years ago I was at my heaviest weight, 265 lbs, and decided that I wanted to be healthier. Since then, I've lost almost 70 pounds to my goal of 100 and I feel much better. I still want to lose about thirty more pounds, and I'm hoping I can achieve that before I go to college in the fall.

I don't know what Weight Watchers' reputation is on this site, but I'm going to be starting the online program tomorrow because I've hit a bit of a plateau and I work very well with structured programs. Hopefully that'll help and I will be able to lose the last thirty pounds in these last nine months!

I'm very happy to meet you all.

Britchenhauser, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diet plans, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join!
