Hi I am new to the board. I don't know really where to start but here I go with a little 411 about myself. I am in my 40s and in need to lose 60 pounds well thats my goal. I am a stay at home mom of 5. I started having health issues and then I gained my weight after my last child was born I weighed over 300 pounds. I lost a lot of weight from 26 to 16 only to go back to an 18 just a few months ago. I wore the size 16 though tightly. I lost all the weight by dieting and working out. I got burned out big time and just stopped only to have the weight come back slowly. So, since last month I have started back up again. This time I am for real in a size 16 which is getting lose. Now I am getting tired again but I know I must keep on going. I am learning how to cook healthy this time unlike last time but I know I must keep on going. Looking for support and friends in the same boat honest friends not the ones that say Oh I lost 20 pounds in 6 weeks and you know they are lying cause they are still wearing the tight fitting jeans they were wearing 6 weeks ago and eating doughnuts for breakfast but they will look at you and say what are you doing. hope that makes since my mind is mush right now lol Anyways, it would be great to meet others.

OJStevens, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diet plans, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the 40-somethings groups
