Smile Hello!

Hi! I am just restarting my weight loss journey after a slow and steady gain. I lost 20 lbs. 4 years ago for my wedding and felt amazing. Then life caught up with me and even though I haven't had a baby or anything , I gained the weight back just through careless eating, etc.

I found this community b/c when I'm trying to get motivated, I look at people's before and after pics! I hope to be an "after' one of these days, myself.

My CW is 160 lbs. and my GW is a new low of 135, which I haven't weighed since I was about 19. I have seen the pics on this forum and I know it's possible! I just need to want it more than I want to loaf on the sofa drinking Chardonnay (wine is a huge problem for me... love me some vino!)

Anyway, hoping to make some new friends in this community. My current plan is to eat 1200-1500 calories a day, limit the boozing, and work out for 1 hour (cardio or strength) each day. I'm also starting with a personal trainer on Jan 20th!

NM, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join!
