Hi! I am just restarting my weight loss journey after a slow and steady gain. I lost 20 lbs. 4 years ago for my wedding and felt amazing. Then life caught up with me and even though I haven't had a baby or anything , I gained the weight back just through careless eating, etc.
I found this community b/c when I'm trying to get motivated, I look at people's before and after pics! I hope to be an "after' one of these days, myself.
My CW is 160 lbs. and my GW is a new low of 135, which I haven't weighed since I was about 19. I have seen the pics on this forum and I know it's possible! I just need to want it more than I want to loaf on the sofa drinking Chardonnay (wine is a huge problem for me... love me some vino!)
Anyway, hoping to make some new friends in this community. My current plan is to eat 1200-1500 calories a day, limit the boozing, and work out for 1 hour (cardio or strength) each day. I'm also starting with a personal trainer on Jan 20th!
