Red face Cannot stand the sight of this body!

Hey everyone! I'm Amber and i'm 26.. I joined the site because I feel like I need as much accountability as possible. I have always had trouble with my weight and have never felt as motivated as I do now. I have a 15 month old daughter and I would like to be energetic and able to keep up with her and my husband. I'm 5'4" and 225 lbs.. my highest weight ever was 236. I officially started calorie counting last Thursday 1/5 and I hope to lose 75 lbs by September 2012. I cannot stand looking at my body anymore. Wish me luck!

Amber, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the 20-somethings and the Calorie Counters.
