Hello, I'm new to this community. I found3fc while looking into ways for going back on a diet and I decided to sign up here. I know I am over 300lbs (i'll find out the exact weight later today) and want to get down to 240lbs. I saw a lot of interesting things including forums for a diet I used to be on through MRC. I really liked how that diet was structured and would like to go back on it. Anyway, I thought I'd introduce myself.

Hello all. I had to work late and forgot to get my actual weight to keep track of. I don't have a scale at home, but there is one at work. I'll have to make sure to do it tomorrow.
@patchworkpenguin - thanks for the welcome. I'll be sure to check out the different clubs and see where I can fit in. I have never seen as site like this before that had so much focus on one common goal so I look forward to learning from everyone to see what works best for me.
@Shero - MRC is short for Metabolic Research Center. It helped me find a diet that actually works, especially since I tried many other diets only to get no where. It cost money to go on program with them, so it is up to you if you want to check them out or not. I have no problem with how much weight I lost when I was on program with them. I believe there are many people who either used to be with them or just joining them.
@MissGuided - Hi. I see you recently joined as well. I hope your weight loss goals will be met or maintained.
I remembered to get my weight today. I also got some sand weights to use to help me keep with exercising at work. Sitting at an office desk doesn't allow for much exercise, but the weights can used without getting in the way of my work.
