Talking Howdy from Texas!
Hi everyone! Hope y'all had a great New Year's Day. This is my first post. I'm so glad we have groups like this around the internet. Technology rocks! It is so much easier to lose weight when you have a support network.

Well I have no sig yet, but my name is Stacie. I'm a 43 year old wife, mother of 3, and teacher. Currently I am 10 lbs. down and have 60 more to go! My goal is 8-10 lbs a month. I know you aren't supposed to lose more than 2 lbs. a week but a woman can dream.

I am glad to be here and wish all of you the very best of luck on your journeys to better health!!

Stacie, welcome, glad to have you join us. Congratulations on the 10lb loss. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering arouns specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the 40-Something Chat!

Thanks, ladies! I love it here. I joined the "Dare" at Livestrong. This seems to be the easiest time to lose weight because everyone I know it seems is on a diet in January. LOL!
