After perusing these boards for the last few weeks (incognito), i decided to go ahead and register & say hi!

My name is Bre, I'm 32, married, mother of 1. I'm a stylist & I play roller derby (hence Breasaurus - it's my derby name). I just ended my 2d 90 day challenge with Visalus Body By Vi (i lost 30lbs total) and have decided to try a different route and joined MRC yesterday. I'm in preconditioning now until next Friday so here's hoping for the best!

Hi! I'm so jealous - I love watching roller derby but can't skate for squat. Congrats on your 30# loss!

Find a roller derby team in your area - chances are that they have a fresh meat training & can teach you to skate! It's a **** of a workout for sure!

It was on my bucket list to do before I died - sure enough, I found a team! When I started I could barely skate 6 laps before I thought I was going to die - now I'm up to almost 50, only 6 months later!

It sounds like so much fun - thanks for the suggestion! I'm in the Baltimore area, we've got the Charm City Roller Girls here. I'll check them out and see if they're offering anything like that!

We have groups centering around specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the 30-Somethings, exercise, and the MRC sub forums
