Default Time to make a change (like we haven't heard that before!)

Hi there, I am new and I need some help, if you're willing to help!
I have just turned 18 and I currently weigh 14 stone 10. Most of my weight is distributed to my hips, which is awful and I just want to get down to a nice size (nothing too thin) just a nice average curvy body.
I don't want to lose weight stupidly, from not eating etc, because that isn't the way.

Im pleased to have found a lovely place to share this with!
If you have any hints and tips for me i'd love to hear!!

welcome!!

my first general tip for you would be to make sure you are drinking enough water every day!! dehydration slows weight loss, and also water helps with hunger pans.

try to eat more healthy whole foods and less junk food, and definetly eat your fruit and veg!

is there any kind of diet plan you are considering? (low fat, low carb, meat-free etc?)
