Hi I'm new here and just wanted to introduce myself. I'm 45 and have lupus and take care of my 17 yr old son who has brain cancer. Needless to say, the stress is overwhelming and I have been eating everything in sight to stuff my feelings I guess and sort of self medicate. I've gained 20 pounds and do not feel good about myself at all. I am hoping coming here to give and receive support will really help me get on the right track with eating healthfully and exercising. How do y'all do this? Are there any suggestions or guidelines? What is the best way to get started and the best way to use this forum? Sorry for all the questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
