well guess I'm a newbie but its ok. I am 21 years old and I joined this site after a friend of mine told me about it. I really hope i can gain some insight and pointers on how to get healthy and stay that way. maybe I can be of some encouragement to others as well! my starting weight is 212 and my healthy weight for my height, which is 5'0, would be around 130 so...i have a pretty big goal ahead of me. hope i can stick with it! nice to meet you!
You definitely can stick with it. You'll see plenty of members who have a ways to go to get to goal weight (I'm on of them! ). We get there the same way that everyone else does. One day at a time. One healthy choice at a time.
Welcome to the forum! Don't look at the big number, break it down into mini goals. When you reach one of those goals you will feel so good about you that you will want to continue on.
