Hi, fellow weight loss enthusiasts

My name is Ellie. I live in SC. I turn 30 in a few weeks, and currently weigh 310. My first mini-goal is 275.
My sister-in-law is getting married soon, so I have fallen into what a lot of people do: major event = push to lose weight. I don't want it to end there, and I think as long as I stick with it and get some support I'll be better equipped to do it. Which is why I've joined this forum
My husband is type 2 diabetic, and we've changed the way we eat most of our meals. I still carry too much weight. It seems like every time I've started to lose weight in the past few years, I fall or injure myself. Which makes it that much harder to get up and move. Enough with the reasons why, however, that's pretty much the situation. Onward and upward, or should I say downward?
I hope to bring my sense of humor and my big heart to this forum, and I hope to make a lot of connections and friendships. Thanks for reading and see you around!
