Hello Newb here!
Hi my name is Natalie, the loved ones call me Nani. Um...where do I start? I can honestly say I've been overweight or "obese" as they consider it since I was 8 years old. I've lived most of my life in a custom built shell of "I don't care about the way I look". Until recently (about 1 or 2 years) when I stepped on a scale and saw that I weighed 248 pounds, that was the turning point in my life. It was the point I said no more, I'm not going to let myself get to 250 pounds. I made a change for the better and started a weight loss program, and I was doing it for myself. Not for my mom or dad or some guy I found cute but for myself, see in my younger years I was always being told that I needed to lose weight, for a variety of reasons. I think that's why I never did lose weight, because I was constantly being pressured to do so. I will admit, I don't know what took so long for me to find that turning point in my life but I'm glad I did. And today, well today you can find me 90 pounds lighter! I currently weigh 158 pounds, I wear a size 10 (used to be a size 18) in jeans and I've never felt better in my entire life! So I've joined this community to be an example for a whole bunch of other people out there that weight loss IS possible, you just gotta set your mind to it. And! I'm here for some advice as well from all you other successful ladies.
