Hello Newb here!
Hi my name is Natalie, the loved ones call me Nani. Um...where do I start? I can honestly say I've been overweight or "obese" as they consider it since I was 8 years old. I've lived most of my life in a custom built shell of "I don't care about the way I look". Until recently (about 1 or 2 years) when I stepped on a scale and saw that I weighed 248 pounds, that was the turning point in my life. It was the point I said no more, I'm not going to let myself get to 250 pounds. I made a change for the better and started a weight loss program, and I was doing it for myself. Not for my mom or dad or some guy I found cute but for myself, see in my younger years I was always being told that I needed to lose weight, for a variety of reasons. I think that's why I never did lose weight, because I was constantly being pressured to do so. I will admit, I don't know what took so long for me to find that turning point in my life but I'm glad I did. And today, well today you can find me 90 pounds lighter! I currently weigh 158 pounds, I wear a size 10 (used to be a size 18) in jeans and I've never felt better in my entire life! So I've joined this community to be an example for a whole bunch of other people out there that weight loss IS possible, you just gotta set your mind to it. ;) And! I'm here for some advice as well from all you other successful ladies.
