Welcome Chelsea!
Congrats on taking the first steps toward living your best life. In the last two years I have lost a great deal of weight, and can completely relate to your story. I think I outweighed my own father by the time I was in the 6th or 7th grade, and was really always the biggest one in my family. It's not a good feeling. All I can say is it really does get better from here. With every healthy choice you make it will get that much easier the next time you are faced with a choice. And soon it will just become part of your routine and second nature. Try to set small goals for yourself, and as long as you are still making the right choices (in terms of food and activity level) don't beat yourself up over not not meeting your 3.75 pound goal every week. This is something that I still struggle with, lol. but if i have learned anything it is that in the end it all evens out. I might have three weeks of working hard and putting in the work all around and had minimal numbers on the scale which can definitely feel defeating. But then the next week I will drop some water weight and pull a big number, and then my overall numbers for the months end up being about the same. You are young, and as someone older (who refused to listen to my own older people giving me advice when I was your age, lol) I can say that losing weight will never be easier for you than it is now. And you can open up a whole new world of self confidence and possibilities. You deserve it. You are worth it. And you can absolutely do this. It won't always be easy. But I take comfort in the fact that there are so many of us out here struggling and still carrying on. If they can do it, then so can I!
Thanks so much for sharing with us, and keep up the great work!
I hope this message finds you doing well.
Jacob =)
