Default Changing for the better

Hey everyone I'm Krista and I'm 17 years old about to enter my senior year of high school. I've been big most of my life but its because I always went overboard on sweets and sodas, but now I'm changing. For awhile I wasn't happy with myself and I assessed the problems and it's getting better day by day but I came to the realization that in order for me to truly live up to my fullest potential I wanted to lose weight. So I started my journey a couple weeks ago and I'm working toward my goal of 150 every step of the way and can't wait to share it with you guys

KRISSY ~ being that you are still young, the best advice would be to start with cutting out all the junk & sugary pop; you can lose a lot just by doing that and not jeopardize your health & height growth. Add in some favorite fruit, salads, and veggies with lean meats; this is an easy way to start. Take advantage of all the walking you can. There is a teen thread in the SUPPORT GROUPS forum you might like to check out ... good luck!

Welcome! I think it's great that you're taking initiative at your age, and you'll definitely benefit in the long run. People waste too much time being overweight!
