There's a lot you can accomplish in a few months, and the habits you build now will take work, but with a little effort you'll be able to keep at them from now and through university!
Most of us enjoy (okay maybe "enjoy" isn't the best word) knowing where we started. When we have a starting point, it's suddenly there in front of us. Honesty. This is how much we weigh, we own it, and we're changing it. Nothing more. Nothing less.
If you've been lurking around you might also notice that while some people have picked some round-about goal weights,
most people do NOT have a time limit for those goals. Is it possible for you to lose a pant size in a couple months? Maybe. Maybe not. It's going to depend on how fast your body decides to lose, and WHERE it decides to drop the weight from first.
I can say this, though. You make healthy, permanent changes to your lifestyle now... changes that you know you can stick with through university, and it won't matter how long it takes to get the weight off. It WILL come off, and you'll be setting yourself up for one less thing to worry about through college.
Let's put aside September, and instead think June... because June is where we are now =)
