Hi, my name is Kaydee. I live in California. I am a single mother of 4 children looking to lose around 115#s. Everytime I try to lose weight I totally sabotage myself and end up gaining more. The last time I tried I gained 20#s. I play softball once a week, but I know that is not nearly enough to lose the kind of weight I want to lose. If anyone else is looking to lose over 100#s please fell free to share you story.
You aren't alone. There are actually a whole bunch of people on 3FC that want to lose/are losing/have lost a hundred pounds or more! It's doable, and we love to see everyone succeed at it!
I, myself, am in that category. I actually did lose over 100lbs at one point, only to gain it back (my own fault, owning up). So, I've started over, forgiven myself and taking this opportunity to apply the things I've learned in the past as well as incorporate new ideas. Even with 14 pounds gone forever, I feel more energetic...more normalized. Every day I move more, every day I stay on plan food wise...it just adds up!
Healthy, permanent changes. I started slow, I'm building up, and always always always continuing forward even after a stumble.
Best of wishes to you and can't wait to get to know you on your journey!
Hi Kaydee! My name is Shannon and I need to lose over 100 lbs. I'm a big boned girl and am looking to get down to 165 lbs. I need to lose almost 150 lbs to meet that goal.
I agree, it is all about a life style change. I have bought books and have been researching online in attempts to find what will be right for me. I'm excited to start making these changes because it will not only help myself but also my husband and son.
I'm looking to lose about 160 lbs, and I definitely think that it is possible.
I'm focusing on exercise to make myself healthier, and eating to make myself healthier, not necessarily on the weight loss aspect of it, but I am hoping that by doing things to make myself healthier I will lose weight.
Hello, my name is Ann. I understand the frustration you are encountering I have lost 80 pounds before, but when life challenges started to throw curve balls and fast balls, I went to food for support. I am now 254.5 pounds. My goal is to get to 150 pounds. If you would like to support on your journey, my door is always open.
For me...its so hard to have to admit that I need to love 150 pounds....and it seems almost impossible...
So instead of thinking about it in total...I've just made myself a small goal of 50 pounds....I was 50 pounds lighter 4 years ago and it seems like such a more reasonable goal....
I just know that if I lose the 50 pounds I'll feel so proud and have so much more energy that I can then commit to lose 50 more.
Hello all! To date, from my heaviest I have lost 70 lbs, and I still want to lose another 120. It`s hard work, and a lifetime commitment, but I am worth the effort. I`ve spent thismuch of my life being unhealthy, I want to spend the rest of it feeling good about myself. PLease feel free to PM me anytime or track me down in the threads for support - that goes for everyone!
This is a journey. We all have the tools necessary to reach our destination.

I have been there. Done that. Regained 50 of 100 + punds lost, in 20 years. Now I am determined not to die fat! Wish me luck. It is coming off slow; but it is coming off.
Hi there, I'm in the same boat and want to lose about 100 pounds. Mainly though I want to get healthy and physically feel good for the first time since my youngest was born, over 8 years ago. I know I didn't put the weight on over night and it won't come off over night either. Slowly but surely wins this race! Welcome!!
I like the idea of setting interim goals. It is less intimidating and you can set up rewards along the way. Is there something you have always wanted to do, but the weight has kept you from it? Maybe theres something when you get to 250 you could do, like bungee jumping or at 200, you can ride a mule down the grand canyon. Coolest thing I saw today which is my ultimate goal... Horse Surfing! But thats not until I get to 150!
set yourself up for success, instead of failure by setting realistic goals along the way and rewarding yourself for it!
