Coming out of lurkdom (eep!)
Hi, everyone! I began my weight loss journey in July 2010 and signed up here in August--and I've been lurking ever since! I'm kind of shy, and every time I've been tempted to speak up, I've stifled myself with the excuse that I haven't introduced myself yet. So I'm removing that excuse. 
I've found these boards to be a terrific resource for weight loss info, and I'm beginning to peek more at the maintenance board, as I slowly get nearer to my goal weight. Good luck & good health to us all!

I know exactly how you feel about introducing yourself.
I have just joined and have spent the last hour trying to think of something to say.
