Default Will I ever look thin??!!

Hi, this is the first time Ive had the guts to post on here! I usually just read everyone elses posts hehe

Well Ive managed to lose 3 stone since last August and need some support on continuing! I now weigh about 9 stone and want to get to about 8 if possible maybe a little less (im only small 5 ft 2)... problem is I still dont look thin at all!! Think its because of my height and beginning to think Ill never look thin lol

Just some words of encouragment would be nice and just a message to everyone whos starting to lose weight, trust me if I can do it SO CAN YOU!!! Im the greediest person I know I absolutely LOVE food with a passion and I put weight on through greed and greed alone!!

Just one piece of advice which I think is key to weight loss is to not throw the whole diet away because of one indulgence, so what if you eat a piece of cake or a chocolate bar?? You can still continue to diet and still lose weight! Personally i think the best way is to have treats every now and then otherwise its boring, depressing and is not incorporating a permanant change into your eating habits.

Anyway sorry for going on a bit byeee for now!!

A close friend recently lost 28 pounds, and regained 20 because she felt it was useless; not one person noticed. I looked at photos of her before and after, and I realized she did not seem to lose one ounce from her round face! When she was heavy, I always thought that her face was deceiving, it looked like it belonged to a smaller person. When she lost, her face looked like it belonged to a heavier person. I am keeping this in mind as I also have a chubby face. I am going by the scale, measurements and loose clothing; NOT by the mirror!!! And, not waiting for compliments!

I lost 30 pounds before someone noticed I had lost weight.
And not one person I know besides that one has said a thing. And I have now lost 35.

I am not losing weight for other people to notice. I am losing weight to feel better and have more energy to do things. And that is working for me, as I can do a lot more around the house now.

I am wearing a smaller size, and that is an added plus.
Hang in there and continue your weight loss journey. You will feel much better by this time next year. And you will look thinner.

either start doing muscle work or step up your muscle work...losing fat will get you a long way, but reshaping your body through strength training makes a huge difference in how you appear at any weight...congrats on the 3 stone!!
