Hey everyone, I'm Jenna. I signed up for this site a million years ago and lost touch for a long time (was only a lurker). I'm newly married, three weeks and counting and we're hoping to start a family soon. As everyone knows, being overweight and trying to conceive is a struggle and I want to be as healthy as I can for my new family. I've struggled with my weight for over 10 years and am working on my stress level and happiness since I'm an emotional eater (and have been living with my mother for two years )

I hope to make friends, get support and learn that yes, I can lose weight and control my life.

i'm getting married in a few weeks, so i'll be joining you in that 'newly wed' bliss! i am working on losing weight so we can start trying to conceive too, so i understand completely.

Hey Jenna,

We have a wonderful "Getting Healthy to Get Pregnant" group you might want to check out...what a wonderful thing to motivate you!

We also have a ton of groups to check out, like the 100 lb club, for those on their way to losing or who have lost 100 lbs or more, plus groups by age range, eating plan...just a lot of places to explore. So look around, find a spot, and settle in! Can't wait to get to know you better now that you've come out of lurkdom.

I'd love to join the Getting Healthy to Get Pregnant group but I'm having trouble finding it. Could someone point a newbie in the right direction? I fit into a few other categories but my weight loss is now motivated by my desire to raise a family.
