Hi Guys,
Thanks for the warm welcome

You can get HCG from a doctor. I live in Dallas, and there are a lot of docs that offer weekly visits, B12 shots, and weigh ins along with the prescription.
I think that it cost me about $800 for 6 weeks. ( of course I ended up buying prepackaged diet food every week at the dr. office- so who knows how much it cost all together- lol)
But you do not have to do that at all. The diet plan is really simplified- and everything you need is readily available. When I did it the first time, my doc had me at 700- 1000 cal per day. The traditional HCG diet is much lower in cal- about half that.
This time I ordered my HCG online from the same place I have been getting my B12 supplements.
Its a lot cheaper this way.
The HCG begins to work right away I suppose. The first two days on it you have your regular food, beginning the third day you start a low carb, low fat, calorie restricted diet.
HCG supposedly helps to mobilize fat stores, to be burned for energy. I dont know if that is true, or if its simply the fact that one will be in ketosis that makes the weight come off and allows for the energy to function as normal.

Hope that helps!
