I just joined and wanted to say hello. I was looking for a good place to find some support in my weight loss journey since I really don't have anyone here. I currently live in Jacksonville, FL, I'm 28, 350 pounds, asthmatic and recently diagnosed with diabetes. I have a long rough road a head of me to get to my target weight of 150 pounds, but decided now is the time to get serious about it. I'm too young to have the health problems I have. Hoping to meet some friends, nice meeting y'all

Hey. Is your real name Anastazia? My name is Anastasia. That's how you caught my attention. Welcome to 3FC. I comeon here almost every day. The first 2 weeks are very hard, but as you adjust, you become automatically aware of what you're eating. It's great you are doing something about being diabetic. That runs in my family. I would guess number one in my family. Just make smal goals and time will go by in no time. Hope to see more posts from you. Too bad we don't live close enough. I wish I had a friend to work out with.

I also wish I had a friend to work out with, makes it less easier to quit when I get frustraited. Thanks for stopping by and saying hi.

I just joined today too, and I am 329.4lbs, 29yrs old, and also live in FL. Couple hours south of Jacksonville actually. Good luck, and look forward to reading your weight loss results!!

Hi ladies--I just read your posts and if you're serious about losing I invite you to a relatively new thread..."Sarges No Excuses/Boot Camp to Beach..." It's an active thread of people checking in almost daily just to say I DID IT Sarge. On Sunday you promise fictitious Sarge (me) how many pounds YOU WILL lose that week.

I noticed Stasigurl signature "this far to go til Air Force" so I thought you might appreciate our humor.

welcome!!! looks like we are on the same journey!! starting weight is almost the same, our goal is the same, and almost the same age! (29). I invite you to come check out the 300+ club! its an amazing bunch of ladies that are or have been 300+ so it makes you feel like there is someone there that can relate to you!!
