5 weeks in and the New Years Resolution is sticking, time to say hello!
Hello Everyone!
Well, as happens every year and many times in between, I made my resolution this time to shed the extra pounds. The difference is that this time, not only did I get past day one, and then week one, I'm still going strong over a month in, and my mindset actually seems to be changing, which is a first!
5 weeks ago I weighed in at 96kg and last Friday I was 89.5kg, and I've seen a gradual loss each week.
I've managed to eliminate the snacking which was constant and my biggest weakness, and in it's place start an exercise regime, which alarmed me in the beginning when it highlighted just how unfit I am, but already, I'm seeing results and trying my best to stick at it and do an hours worth at least 4 times a week, and then at least be active at some point on the other 3 days.
I think it's time for me to join a group like this to make sure I don't give up. The hardest month is over, but my initial goal is 70kg and then probably a few more on top, so I've gotta stick at this, and I'm hoping a group like this will help!
I've spent the last 3 years living in Thailand, and am moving back to the UK in April, and really want to go home looking good, and as a single 25 year old, I want to feel good about myself and hopefully that'll lead to meeting Mr. Right too.
Most of all I want to feel good about myself, walk with my head held high and spring in my step, and be fit enough to go for a jog or a bike ride or a hike or whatever when I get back.
My next mini goal (after beating my first of getting out of the 90kgs) is to get out of the obese BMI section, and I've got 3KG to go to achieve that, so hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
My weigh in day is Friday, and I'm trying to be realistic, but every week I can't help but pray for that huge loss!
Thanks for reading, I'm looking forward to sharing my journey of taking control of my weight, fitness and my life!
