Hi, I was registered here since August of 2009 as Hydra. I had to create a new username to get back in!

I changed my eating habits back in August of 2009, the very day I went to my doctor's for a checkup and weighed the most I have ever weighed. The nurse and doctor spoke to me about changing habits as that sweet nurse saw the dismay on my face that the scale read 252. I said to her, oh no, I am closer to 300 lbs than 200 lbs, I need some help.

This is an awesome place for support!!! I have lost a total of 34 lbs since August of 2009!! I am proud of this as I am going thru menopause and I take medications that can cause weight gain.

I work part time in the mental health field, have a 21 yr old son and I will be 47 this year. I like to spend time on hobbies such as writing, painting and jewelry making. I am glad to be back and "Onederland, here I come!!!!!"
