First day! WooooHoooooo!

  • Ok- Here I go. Can't wait to get moving on this weight loss journey.

Quick bio- Quit smoking 7.5 months ago (yeah me ) BUT I gained 25 lbs on my 5"2" body that was 15-20lbs overweight already, in 6 months. I feel unhealthy and sluggish. I have gone up at least 2 sizes. I have felt powerless over my eating. I feel like my health is suffering. I am almost 39 and my goal is to be fit and healthy by 40. I want to feel better than I did at 30. I think it's possible.

Soooo, Hello! Thanks for all the inspiring and helpful stuff on this site.

Wishing you all the very best. Just wondering what your plan is for weight loss? There are so many good ones out there. And the big congrats on ditching the cigarettes for good. You may be up on the scale, but my guess is your lungs are forever grateful. Hang in there, you can do it!

Thanks Joy! I'm pretty damn proud of myself for quitting too My weight loss plan is for good ole calorie counting/cardio/weight training. I have tried every other fad out there and I have decided to go back to basics.

Wow-it looks like you are well into your weight loss journey! Amazing. How have you done it?
