I am starting out at 224--the heaviest I have ever been and I am ready to leave it behind. I began my health changes a couple of months ago and have learned a lot already. I am not terribly concerned solely by the number on the scale, but it is part of an over-all measurement of my health.
My husband and I are doing some weekly challenges, but I thought it would be fun to have another group I "work out" with. I watch the Biggest Loser show pretty regularly and am amazed at the things they are able to do in such a short amount of time. I recognize that I am not working out as much as they are (I have a life outside the gym), but it inspires me that I can do more than I think. That's why I joined this forum, because I get inspired by people doing things they didn't think they could do. As I learn, hopefully I can inspire someone too.

I am new to this forum but I am ready to share my weight loss process as I begin it. I am ready to be fit for the summer and enjoy living in my body. A healthier and happier me is most important, losing weight isn't about what others think of me, but more of what I think of myself.

April 01, 2011 - I hope to be in the 150's
May 17, 2011 - I hope to be in the 130's
