    My name is Martha and I am 24. I've dieted since I was 19 and have lost weight on and off. The most I've weighed in this time period is 240 (at age 19) and the least was 175 (at age 24). Currently, I've shot back up to the 200's and have been back on my diet for a week and a half with a successful 6lb weight loss. When I ran across this forum, I thought it would benefit me on the emotional side of losing weight. I cannot wait to get to know you all and hope to help any that I can

    HA HA I totally know what you mean 'lifestyle change'. In my mind, diet=denial and lifestyle change = positive, uplifting, a beautiful new beginning...you get the picture! Denying myself my favorite food makes me gorge on them, but telling myself I no longer want them really helps me stay away from them.
