Great Community here...

  • ...I'm happy to have found it.

This is my second great effort to lose alot of weight. I know I will be successful because I was successful before and somehow that only makes things harder.

Hmmm. I have been lurking for quite a few days. I am impressed by so many of the people here and the supportiveness of the community as a whole. So I have joined, put up my current weight and my best past weight and am set on holding myself accountable to my goals.

    Here I go!
  • I'm so glad you joined and I can't wait to hear about all of your wonderful progress!
  • good luck

Check in a lot, read stories every day. Share you own ups and downs. Before you know it, you will be the success story and giving others tips and support.
Best wishes with your weight loss journey.
  • Thanks all! And milmin I will definately be taking that advice.
  • Welcome to the gang! I check in here at least 3 times a day just to read...lol. Great group of people!
  • I am proud to say I am currently addicted to this forum. You are a really amazing group of women and I wish I found you sooner! I spent all night last night at work planning a schedule for eating and excercise, researching calorie counts etc. Today I turned down cinnamon rolls, an unlimited supply of bacon and sausage, brownies and cookies etc. This is my first day keeping a food diary. Wow what a wakeup call! No wonder I'm fat...LOL.

I see this website as a tool. A wonderful tool for accountability and also maybe a little competition?
  • I saw your post in the CC valentine's day challenge forum and wanted to pop by to say 'Hi'.

I get migraines quite frequently; on average it used to be about 3 - 4 per month, over the last year that's crept back up to about 8 - 10 per month (still below my age-20 peak of 20 migraines per month though... yay?). My weight has also gradually gone up a bit in the last year, maybe 10 - 15 pounds or so, although between ages 22 and 25 it was about the same (higher) level and my migraine frequency was still lower...

I will be curious this time around to see if losing weight helps towards decreasing my migraine frequency, and I'll be interested to follow your progress and see if it helps you as well!
