Hi! My name is Elizabeth but I like to be called Lizzie. I am restarting my weight loss journey and looking to change my life life for the better. I have lurked on the forum for the past few days and feel the need to applaud the courage and strength of the people here. I feel inspired and see that anyone can change once they commit to the path.
I make myself the following promises. I will get out of the emotional abusive relationship I am in. I will make healthier choices. I will learn to love me and put myself first. I will no longer allow myself to emotionally binge.
I think its sad that I have taken so long to realize that I prioritize other people above myself. I once heard it put this way. Would you willing put a child through the experience that you have made for yourself? I could never do it to a child. Then how can I do it to myself? I will love me!
Starting the journey at 309 and hoping to get down to 190. Wish me luck!
