This morning I have reached my wits end with the struggle to lose weight. A few years ago now I started at 152 dropped about 27lbs and then let go and I am back up to 142.2 this morning. This is close to the highest I have let myself go since losing that weight. During these few years I have gotten really active doing triathlons and half marathons. I am burnt out from all that and trying to get back into the gym and focus this winter on losing weight instead of training for a half marathon as I did last winter, which made exercise a chore after awhile - especially in the cold and snow!
Anyways, I want to get down to 120lbs sooner than later but realize the only way to do this is slow and steady. After a failed attempt at the cabbage diet this week (ew, gross & I know, bad idea!) It has really motivated me to step up and stop making excuses for this. Im 25, 5'1" so these extra 20plus pounds looks horrific.
I am really looking forward to getting involved with the support I have seen on these boards. The goal photos have really been an inspiration and I'm very excited to get involved
