Hi everyone,
I'm new here and I would like to join the fun! This forum was recommended to me by Karen925. I read about her weight-loss journey on another website and it really inspired me. I've read many other success stories in the past, so I'm not sure why her story seemed to click with me more than others, but it just did. Maybe because my beginning stats are about the same as hers, and now our start dates are about the same!
I won't write a novel here, LOL, but I just turned 50 and suffice it to say I've tried many things in the past (WW, Lindora, etc., etc.) and I've only had temporary success. I really need to get myself under control because I want to wear nice clothes again and feel good about myself, but more importantly, I am tired of feeling crummy all the time. I want to feel good and have energy again.
I've decided I'm going to count calories. I'm using the LoseIt app on my iPhone. Normally I am a lurker on message boards, but you all seem very nice and supportive, and I think in order to be successful I need to be accountable to myself and others. I'm excited but also scared. Anyway, here goes!
By the way, can someone explain the Buddy List to me? Thanks!
