Default Hi all!

So I started this whole lose weight mission in March about the same time as I started my last job. In the beginning I stuck to it really well, both to the diet and to the exercising, but over the months got lazy.

It was kind of a sliding slope. I was originally going to the gym 6 days a week, and sticking to my slim fast diet almost religiously. I lost weight like it was sliding off, then my work schedule changed so it made it harder to go to the gym so often because I was no longer on the same schedule as my roommates and we had been each others motivators, so I started going less. I told myself that I was overworking myself, I would burn out if I kept it up so hard etc. All true, but the sliding kept on instead of going 6 days I was going 4, then 3, then 2. Then I lost my job and quot altogether, making excuses to myself about how I shouldn't waste the gas.

The diet part of it has a similar sliding slope, in the beginning I was determined and kept at it. Then after about 15lbs lost I was like, I'm doing so well I can cheat a little and have Subway once in awhile. And it went downhill from there. At around 30lbs lost the diet went from a strict, must do this, to a loose framework for when and what I eat. With me frequently going way over my allotted calories for my one real meal. Or having 2 real meals, each about the 500 calories I am supposed to limit myself to for my one meal. It was something that was only happening maybe once or twice a week until I was laid off, then I found myself home most of the day and munchy all the time.

Because of this I have stayed between 260 and 267 for the last couple months, and I need to break out of this lull. I got a new job and I hope with it the listlessness that came from stress and depression will dissipate. The new job is a little more active than the old one and is also, conveniently, only about a mile away from my gym, so I also am returning to the gym starting after work tomorrow. I am also joining FitDay and this forum to try to keep me on track better then before.

So here goes my weight loss challenge 2.0, I'd love some buddies or something to help keep me going!!!
