46 yr old male on HMR
Hello,
I am a 46 yr old man who spent most of his life not only thin, but always in excellent athletic condition. About 8 years ago I started to let myself go. I gained 7-10 pounds a year and then before I knew it, I was almost 100 pounds overweight. Then the "I am bummed because I am fat" depression set in and I ate everything in reach to drown my sorrows. I have two little children under age 5 and I want to watch them grow up. I don't want to be a dead fat guy.
I began HMR program on 9/11 and I have lost 20 pounds! The diet is easy, it fills you up and satisfies you. I am dedicated to the 13 week decision free program. I am not cheating or bending the rules. I find that I think of food constantly not because I am hungry, but because I am honestly addicted to eating as a habit. I want to share progress over the next few months and share stories and support. I have to see this through. My goal is to lose 80 pounds.
